Battle of the Bands Season 2 - 2026 For Young Rockstars 14+ yo Venue: Kumar Pacific Mall, Swargate Pune Dates: Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 September 2026 Show start: 5:00pm ( More details will be shared soon ) 1. Reporting & check-in Reporting time: all bands, both event days. Where to report: Main stage entrance – check in with QR code Movement: Bands remain seated in the audience and are called backstage just before their slot. Instruments & security: Each band is responsible for its own instruments and gear. Band lineup and slot order will be finalised once registrations close and shared with all band leaders in advance. Buffer time: Will be provided in case of technical issues. 3. Stage & technical setup Provided backline: Drum kit with basic cymbals (drummers bring their own cymbals and sticks). Vocal microphones. Monitors (4 on stage). DI boxes for guitars, bass, and keyboards. Not provided: Guitar amps (bands may bring their own). No backing tracks: Live music only (except approved effects). 4. Rules & regulations - All band members must be 14 years of age or above. Band size: 3–7 members. - A minimum of 3 registered members must be present to perform — bands reporting with fewer will not be allowed on stage. - Only registered members plus one roadie are allowed on stage. - Original compositions only — no cover songs. Bands can perform a maximum of 2 songs - Offensive lyrics, attire, or behaviour will result in disqualification. Substance abuse is strictly prohibited. - Bands not ready 15 minutes before their slot will be disqualified. Bands bear full responsibility for any damage to provided equipment. 5. Judging & results - Number of judges: [to be confirmed] - Criteria (100 points each): - Planning & preparedness - Originality - Audience engagement - Quality of performance - Presentation - Scoring: Judges mark individually and decide the winner. Their decision is final. - Audience voting: Not included. - Tie-breaker: Bands will perform one additional song of their choice. 6. Communication & coordination - WhatsApp group: All band leaders will be added for updates and instructions. - Stage plot & input list: Each band must submit these in advance. - Intro script: Each band must provide a short self-introduction for the MC. 7. Safety & emergency - Volume control: Managed by the sound engineer. - Consent: All bands must sign media consent for photo/video use. 8. Finance & awards - Winner prize: ₹20,000 cash prize — winner takes all (to be transferred post-event within 60 days). - Certificates & trophies: Awarded immediately on stage. - Annual concert opportunity: Winner opens at BodhiTree's - Annual Concert (Nov/Dec 2026). - Registration fee: ₹2,000 per band, non-refundable except in case of event cancellation.
